The Microsoft Workplace Discount Program allows employees at eligible companies to buy an annual subscription of Microsoft 365 Family or Microsoft 365 Personal at a discount for use on personal devices.

Microsoft 365 Family. Great for families and households. Includes subscription benefits for up to 6 people.

Microsoft 365 Personal. Great for individuals. Includes subscription benefits for 1 person.

Employees who work at a company that satisfies the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program eligibility requirements.

Yes. Enter your corporate email on the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program page to see if you qualify. If you don’t have a corporate email, please contact your IT department for questions about eligibility.

• 1. Sign Up: Visit the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program page. Enter your corporate email address. Click on 'Get Started' button.
• 2. Confirm: If you are eligible, an email will be sent to your corporate email address inbox with a link that will validate your eligibility for the program.
• 3. Sign In: Once your eligibility is confirmed and you register for the program with your Microsoft Authorized Online Store account that is associated with your corporate email address, you can begin the purchase process by viewing the discounts available to you based on your Microsoft Workplace Discount Program benefit eligibility.
• 4. Shop: Your purchase is processed and completed in the Microsoft Authorized Online Store. You, the eligible employee, can install Microsoft 365 on your personal devices after the purchase is complete. Once you have purchased Microsoft 365 Family, you can share your subscription with up to 5 additional members of your household.

Yes. If you already have Microsoft 365 Family or Microsoft 365 Personal, you can still take advantage of this discount. Once you purchase, additional time is added to your existing subscription, and the discounted rate will begin at your existing subscription’s annual renewal date. Be sure to specify the Microsoft account that’s associated with your current Microsoft 365 subscription during the purchase process.

You can still take advantage of this discount. Your Office 365 subscription will automatically be renamed to Microsoft 365 on April 21, 2020. No action is needed from your end.

If you are an Office 365 Personal subscriber, you will be switched to a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription.

If you are an Office 365 Home subscriber, you will be switched to a Microsoft 365 Family subscription. 

If you are an Office 365 Solo subscriber (available only in Japan), you will be switched to a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription. 

Once you purchase Microsoft 365 through the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program, additional time is added to your existing subscription, and the discounted rate will begin at your existing subscription’s annual renewal date. Be sure to specify the Microsoft account that’s associated with your current Microsoft 365 subscription during the purchase process.

Microsoft is updating the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program to offer discounts on the latest and most up to date products such as Microsoft 365, which is always up to date with premium versions of Office apps across all your devices. Office Professional Plus 2019 and Office Home and Business 2019 are no longer available as Microsoft Workplace Discount Program offers.

Microsoft Workplace Discount Program discounts on these products are only available if your employer’s Microsoft Workplace Discount Program administrator has selected you for one or more product specific discounts. If selected, a product specific benefit email from Microsoft Store is sent to your corporate email address. Please follow the instructions in the email to redeem this benefit.
